This design I felt it did not flow as well as the other sketches I had completed.
By having a whole page designated to the main photo and the other full of text, it makes the article appear blocky and therefore does not give off the same easy flow as the other designs. As well as this due to the text and photos being so segregated, it does not have one main attraction on the article and therefore the photo may be neglected.
I did however, like the idea of having the pull quote on the photo. This is because by having the photo as the main feature and having an interesting/exciting pull quote on top of the photo, it would be hard not to miss and consequently draws in the audience to read the article.
In substitute for the pull quote which would normally break up the text, I could then use a filler instead, as seen below, to have the same effect.
